AXA Investment Managers has appointed Yannig Loyer as global head of trading. In a statement the firm observed this is a “key role given the increased regulatory pressure associated with these activities and as we seek to take advantage of technological and quantitative innovations as part of our transformation”.
Based in Paris, he will report to Daniel Leon, head of Engineering and trading. In his new role, Yannig Loyer will manage the fixed income, equity, and FX trading globally. He will be responsible for the leadership, development, oversight, and performance of AXA IM’s execution capabilities. derivatives and securities financing teams will continue to report to Daniel Léon.
